Softball
The Dizzy Llamas Softball program is the deepest in the organization with ten teams playing at four levels. Games begin in April and run through early November. Boston LlamasSeason: Year-RoundCaptain: Mimi Drozd The Llamas had an inauspicious inaugural season, going winless in two USSSA regional tournaments in 2009. With a handful of additions over the off season, the team is setting it sights on the Mixed World Tournament in October. Showcase LevelLeague: BWCSSeason: Summer Captain (Gray): Dave Claffey Our top summer team, Gray has won the 2008 and 2009 BWCS Championship, posting a 19-1 record while sweeping through the playoffs in the latter. Some players on this squad also play at the CoRec Level. In 2009, Gray featured seven EMAAC All-stars including the Watertown and Cambridge Division MVPs. League: BSSC Season: Fall Captain (Black): Dave Claffey Our Fall Showcase Level team features a mix of our top summer softball players and up-and-coming Llamas looking to break onto Gray and the Boston Llamas. Games are played in the BSSC and run from September through early November. The 2009 team featured three EMAAC All-stars.
