Dizzy Llama Golden Llama Casino Night 2010

For the second straight year the Golden Llama Awards Night was held at Verona Restaurant in Watertown, MA. Llamas, friends and family came out on a warm January night to play some casino games, winning chips that they would later exchange for raffle tickets. There were plenty of great prizes to be won, including a pair of Celtics tickets. After the gaming, everyone sat down for dinner and socializing. Capping off the night was the awards presentation celebrating a fantastic 2009 season. Coordinators recognized outstanding performances in their respective sports with Athletes of the Year awards, while Most Improved and other accolades were given out to those voted on by their fellow Llamas. At the very end, second-year member Scott Tarentino was presented with the 2009 Llama of the Year for his success on the field and dedication to the organization. |
